Open Leadership Positions: Intergenerational Spring Seminar
The UU@UN will be hosting our annual Intergenerational Spring Seminar April 22-24, 2022, expected to take place in New York City. The 2022 Seminar will build off of the prior two Seminars’ theme of “All In for Climate Justice,” this time with a focus on climate-forced displacement. We look forward to collaborating with UU Ministry for Earth and UUSC on this event, as well as… you!
Consider applying as a volunteer!
The UU@UN is currently accepting applications for youth (age 14-18) and adults to serve on the Planning Committee for our 2022 Seminar!
- Youth Deans (apply by July 7) serve as leaders of programming during the Seminar, working with the Seminar Planning Committee to create programs that are safe and inclusive for all. Youth Dean is a two-year position.
- Youth and Adult Chaplains (apply by August 9) help create a caring environment rooted in our UU faith by crafting spiritual grounding opportunities and supporting attendees throughout the Seminar.
- Planning Committee Members (apply by August 9) are involved with crafting the educational arc of the event, planning worship and workshops, generating publicity, recruiting attendees, coordinating logistics, and more!
