Dennis has enjoyed playing the piano at the First Unitarian Church of Honolulu for 7 years but has been playing music his whole life, including the Christian Science Church when he was a boy. He has performed on the same bill with ‘The Doors” at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Born in Hawai’i and schooled in Pasadena, California, Dennis returned to the islands in the 1970s and performed with Cecilio and Kapono, Nohelani Cypriano, The Beamer Brothers, Melveen Leed and eventually became Don Ho’s music director. He has also recorded with Olomana, Jay Larrin, Rap Replinger, and the “Local Divas.”
