“It’s difficult to explain the close relationships that develop in Chalice Circle.  Through sharing and deeply listening on topics not typically discussed in casual conversation, we get to know each other in a very unique and intimate way.”        ~Leslie Horn

“Chalice Circle is a place where friendships develop and has, for me, become a place of connection and learning.”      ~Jim Mullin

“I feel grateful for the way Chalice Circle participation has helped me grow as a listener and as someone able to explore deep and meaningful ideas”.     ~Judith Clark

“Chalice Circles are intentionally designed for connection and nourishment.  To me they are the equivalent of all of us putting our arms around each other.”       ~Carla Allison

Long term church members and those new to the church participate. A diverse group of people join, allowing for a cross section of ideas, opinions and personal experiences. So come, come whoever you are!

HOW CHALICE CIRCLES WORK

Groups of 5-12 people meet two or more times each month for one to two hours at a time to
explore pre-selected topics together.  Each group is guided by a trained, member
facilitator.  Chalice Circle members agree to follow a covenant which acts as a common
set of guidelines for respectful group interaction.  Chalice Circle membership requires
commitment to regular attendance to the end of the current series.

CHALICE CIRCLE FORMAT

Each time a Chalice Circle group meets, we follow a format designed to create the setting and the structure needed to share our journeys, listen deeply and learn from the experience of others.

SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

During the series, most groups choose to do a service project within the church and the community. The decision of what to do is made by each Chalice Circle and typically is something the group can to together.
