F UU N – UU Awareness and Empathy Puts an Extra “U” in FUN!
/by Suzette TomDeep concerns in the larger world at injustice, lawlessness, and subversion of truth made it difficult for some of us to fully feel the goodness, hope, beauty and gratitude. But for me (and you?) a break came in the clouds. As good UUs, we are continuously aware of the risks to fairness, safety, inclusiveness, and truth. Let’s look at how that awareness and care can fuel even greater enjoyment of life and FUUN!

This will be a very friendly gathering with a “Talkback” in the sanctuary after the service (not available on Zoom.) We hope you will share your concerns and breakthroughs over coffee or treats with us!
Transformation
/by Suzette TomWe conclude our exploration of the practice of covenanting with a view toward how our congregations transform. Unitarian Universalists welcome all people just as they are, but we do not welcome all behaviors in our communities. At times, we can repair relationships after destructive behaviors occur. Still, sometimes, we must wholly reorient our understanding of what is acceptable and our expectations for one another. This is the work of transformation, a process that inspires hope and ignites change. Gather with us as we think through how to begin this exciting task.
Repair
/by Suzette TomOne of the most challenging features of being in covenant with others is the knowledge that someday, no matter how hard we try, we might let one another down. For this reason, covenant requires a framework for repairing relationships when our impact fails to match our intent. This service invites us to consider possible frameworks for addressing some of the most persistent conflicts we experience in keeping covenant.
