News Item about Noe, Beth and UU Music

From our Music Director, Noe Baladad, who has been at the Association for Unitarian Universalist Music Ministries (AUUMM) Annual Conference & Songleaders Convergence with our beloved Beth Beyers! Beth has done so much to support us all, and to guide Noe in music at our church. We send mahalo nui loa to Beth, and to Noe who will be back with us on 8/16/26!

From Noe: “Greetings from Milwaukee! The conference ended earlier after the service today and I just wanted to thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to attend. I absorbed so much information and music and love and support from fellow colleagues. It was an amazing first year experience! I am leaving feeling so inspired and invigorated and I can’t wait to come back home and share all the music I’ve learned. I will throw in that I’ve been to a number of professional and classical music conferences before, but this is the first conference where I was this moved and just so touched by every single workshop I attended and every person I came across. I also mustered up the courage to play a classical piece during one of the lunch time recitals and was proud to represent Hawaii. I’m off to Chicago tomorrow for some relaxation and vacation and will see you and everyone home soon! ”
