Our speakers this Sunday are Claire Shimabukuro (Community & Labor Union Organizer in Chicago and Hawaii, born into a Hawaii union family) and Leslie Lopez, PhD, specializing in labor education and curriculum development at the Center for Labor Education & Research (CLEAR). Afterwards we’ll enjoy a Labor Day Weekend Barbecue — if you’d like to contribute, salads and desserts are welcome — but definitely bring yourself.
