Ostara, the vernal equinox, is the day of the year when the sun hovers above the equator, marking the beginning of Spring. Spring is a season of renewal, a time when tender seedlings emerge from the earth, signaling the promise of an abundant future. What better time to ponder the renewal of our Church? The Future Shapers Initiative is nearly complete, and in this service we will describe the Church of our dreams, revealed in the aspirations emerging from our six-month exercise in Appreciative Inquiry. We will gather on this auspicious day to celebrate the renewal of both our earthly and spiritual homes.
