Rev. Crystal Saiyge Receives the 2026 Kimberly Johnson Leadership Award

The Kimberly Johnson Leadership Award honors UU women+ whose leadership, service, and commitment to gender justice have strengthened the Unitarian Universalist movement. Named for Rev. Kimberly Johnson, whose wisdom, mentorship, and dedicated leadership have advanced numerous UU organizations, this award recognizes those who embody her spirit of collaboration, vision, and steadfast commitment to community.

This year, UUWF is honored to present the Kimberly Johnson Leadership Award to Rev. Crystal Saiyge. A respected leader, collaborator, and relationship-builder, Rev. Saiyge has made significant contributions across the UU community through her commitment to justice, spiritual leadership, and collective care. Her ability to bring people together, nurture meaningful partnerships, and lead with authenticity and purpose reflects the values at the heart of this award.

We are proud to celebrate Rev. Saiyge’s ongoing impact on our faith and movement. 💜

Investing in the Next Generation of Leaders

Each year, the Marjorie Bowens-Wheatley Scholarship supports emerging BIPOC women+ leaders as they deepen their engagement in Unitarian Universalism and strengthen their leadership for the future. Named in honor of the trailblazing Marjorie Bowens-Wheatley, the scholarship reflects UUWF’s commitment to resourcing and uplifting the next generation of changemakers.

This year, we are proud to award scholarships to Maria Esther Ramos Magaloni, Rachel Feltner, and Dana N. Moore. We celebrate their leadership, dedication, and vision, and look forward to the impact they will continue to make within our faith communities and beyond.

UUWF AT GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2026

Join UUWF at General Assembly 2026 for a virtual community gathering centered on feminist leadership, collective care, and connection.

This is an opportunity to learn more about the UU Women’s Federation, explore our feminist approach to leadership and community-building, and connect with others committed to gender justice and collective liberation.
