Join us in an Irresistible Feminist Future – First Unitarian Church of Honolulu

Hello, friends,

When asked how she maintains hope in these times, Jane Fonda said,

“I think we have to become living ambassadors to an irresistible future where everybody will be seen and respected by their government. Where everybody feels they are taken care of.”

We believe that just as women+ and girls+ are disproportionately impacted by injustice, so, too, are women+ and girls+ the key to a liberated future.

White supremacist patriarchy is not the future we envision. Instead we see an irresistible feminist, womanist future that uses power generatively and shares resources generously. We see an irresistible feminist future where racial and gender justice are the norm. We see an irresistible feminist future where our planet is protected and healed.

This fall, the Unitarian Universalist Women’s Federation invites you to fight, push, resist..and imagine with us.

Throughout the winter and fall, UUWF will be offering resources, tools, and programming focused on building an Irresistible Feminist Future. We’ll be exploring new ways to use power through a feminist/womanist lens, embracing our political identities, making activism sustaining and sustainable, and more. We welcome you to participate!
