Hope 4 Us – Oct 2nd, 3rd, 4th Important Details for Registered Participants - Archived

The important work of Hope For Us continues as we begin our workshops. We will focus on talking about the recent history in ways that care for our relationships, create new and shared understandings about the recent past, and name the ways we want to do things differently together in the future.

Oct. 2, Friday at 5 p.m. – We will gather in our sanctuary to share our work and to dine. We expect to wind up by 8pm.

Oct. 3, Saturday at 10 a.m. – We will meet upstairs in our large classroom (meeting room #2). Since Sof Ma’arav has use of all parking and ground-floor space on Saturday, and security is a serious concern for them, we have special procedures for meeting at the church that day.

  • Everyone must be registered for the event. We will provide the registration list to the guard and identify our participants to him as they enter through the front door. No other entrance may be used.
  • There is still time to register: click here to participate!
  • We cannot park at the church. We have arranged for parking at Temple Emanu-El. Please carpool as we will have limited parking spaces there.
  • Please bring a brown bag lunch, water, and a snack to share as we will not be able to use the kitchen.

Oct. 4, Sunday at 10 a.m. – Worship will be as usual, but we are delighted to have Rev. Sam in the pulpit. And she will stay after for Talk Story.
