Every day, Aloha Harvest rescues thousands of pounds of quality, surplus food from grocery stores, restaurants, hotels, farms, and other generous food donors across Oʻahu. That food is then delivered—free of charge—to our network of recipient agencies serving families, kūpuna, keiki, veterans, and individuals experiencing food insecurity.
None of this happens without our refrigerated food rescue trucks.
These specialized vehicles help maintain the safety and freshness of rescued food while allowing us to transport perishable items efficiently across the island. As demand for food rescue continues to grow, so does the need for dependable transportation. Our current fleet has been on the road for years, making hundreds of pickups and deliveries each week. Every meal we rescue begins with our trucks. Help us keep good food moving to the people who need it most.
Fuel the Rescue
This year’s Fuel the Rescue gala is dedicated to raising $120,000 to put a new refrigerated truck on the road. Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, and donation made helps power our mission to waste less and feed more. Together, we can keep good food moving and ensure no meal goes to waste.
