More about Everybody as Our Own

It is the mission of Everybody as Our Own to introduce and promote a way of being that can bring us together and help us overcome the oppression and bigotries that have separated us. We hope that in doing so we can create both a movement and a beloved community that works together to bring an end to racism. As Lutricia says, “We yearn for the company of friends, the comfort of loving relationships, and the security that comes with a peaceful and prosperous world. We know coming together is the best way to achieve the world we desire. But we have been separated from each other by systemic and cultural attitudes, beliefs and practices that have caused us to fear each other. We have lost touch with those natural human qualities that allow us to connect and relate to one another with care, compassion, empathy and deep respect. But there are ways in which we can come back together and remember who we are to one another. We can remember a future in which we live fully in the glory of our humanity.” https://www.everybodyasourown.org/
