Widening the Circle of Concern: Report of the UUA Commission on Institutional Change
analyzes structural and systemic racism and white supremacy culture within Unitarian Universalism and makes recommendations to advance long-term change.
Starting Sunday, Feb 7 2021, the First Unitarian Church of Honolulu Board launched an initiative to inform the congregation on the report. Each Sunday, a member of the Board or 8th Principle Task Force will provide a video summary of one of the chapters of the book, and there will be a discussion session after the church service. You can access the resources to read or listen to a chapter each week and join in the discussions each Sunday* by clicking on this link. A.D.O.R.E. has generously purchased some copies of the book to make available to our members, so if you are interested, please email email@example.com and we’ll see if we can accommodate your request. We look forward to your participation.
