2021 Intergenerational Spring Seminar
“All In for Climate Justice: Food Equity and Sustainability”

As we work to preserve the Earth for the future generations, it is impossible to ignore the disparity of healthy food distribution across ethnicities and socioeconomic conditions. Please join the Unitarian Universalist Association Office at the UN for the annual Intergenerational Spring Seminar “All In for Climate Justice: Food Equity and Sustainability.” This Seminar seeks to tackle food inequity globally while creating reimagined systems for food sustainability and security. The virtual Seminar is proudly co-hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Ministry for Earth. Within the Seminar community, you’ll have the opportunity to develop skills to take action, expand your knowledge about the issues, build your justice network, and experience spiritual deepening and creativity! This year, registration (open until March 18) offers flexible rates for equity and accessibility.

Virtual Fashion Show and Panel Discussion
“Sustainable Fashion for All: Examining the Industry Through the Lens of Social Justice”

Please join the UU@UN, United Nations Department of Global Communications, Fordham University, Fashion Revolution, and the United Nations Association of New York for a sustainable fashion show and panel event entitled “Sustainable Fashion for All: Examining the Industry Through the Lens of Social Justice.” The event aims to ignite discussion on the importance of sustainable fashion and to showcase designers at the forefront of sustainable and culturally diverse clothing and ethical consumerism. The panel that follows the fashion show will discuss the environmental dangers of fast fashion and the exploitation of poorly paid labor working in hazardous conditions.
