Introducing Our New GA Emcees
GA Emcees Kari Gottfried and Gregory Boyd
Karishma (Kari) Gottfried is a young adult raised in the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Corvallis, Oregon, and a rising senior studying religion at Wellesley College in Massachusetts. She recently was one of the panelists for the 2021 Sophia Lyons Fahs Lecture, and currently serves The Sanctuary Boston as Campus Ministry Coordinator.
Gregory C. Carrow-Boyd, EdD, is a Master Credentialed Religious Educator. He was previously a member of the UUA GA Planning Committee (2011–2015) and served as a Trustee (2015–2021). During his UUA Board term, Greg helped with the facilitation of General Session (2017–2021). He loves to dance and to spend time with the special young people in his life. Greg also works as the Director of Research and Innovation for More Than Sex-Ed, a Greater LA-based sexuality and racial justice education collective that brings the UUA and United Church of Christ comprehensive sexuality education curriculum, Our Whole Lives, to schools, home school groups and the greater community.
GA Emcees will enhance the multi-platform GA experience by connecting the virtual audience to what’s happening in-person. Kari and Gregory will provide daily updates, live interviews, virtual exhibit hall spotlights, and ongoing segments to keep you in the loop on everything happening at GA! Watch this video to learn more about what you can expect from our new Emcee team.
