Announcing the GA Choir Director
We are excited to welcome our 2022 General Assembly Music Coordinator, Allison King! Allison has been a UU Music Director since 1998. While in California, she was very involved with musical theatre, and has acted, directed, choreographed, sang, or danced in over 50 productions. Her first job as a UU Music Director was at the West Hills Fellowship, where she stayed for 7 1/2 years. She filled in at Eastrose Fellowship for a year, followed by 7 years at the UU Church in Hillsboro. She has most recently been the Music Director at the UU Congregation at Willamette Falls in Oregon City. She also directs the Touch of Class Chorale in Vancouver, WA.
The General Assembly Traveling Chalice
The General Assembly Chalice traditionally travels among various congregations in the region where the annual event is being held. The Local Area Task Force coordinates the transfer of the chalice along with a personal invitation to attend GA. This year, the circle widens as the chalice travels digitally to congregations everywhere. Please download this video
and share it during worship services and meetings. Spread the word that all are cordially invited to participate in the 62nd
annual Unitarian Universalist Association General Assembly, online or in-person in Portland, Oregon June 22 – 26, 2022.
