Dear First Unitarian Church Honolulu,

We are writing to invite you to join us for the 2023 UU@UN Intergenerational Spring Seminar, with the theme of “Demilitarization & Abolition: Resist Policing and Empire.”

Militarized policing is a dire problem both in the U.S. and globally. This year’s Seminar aims to help us increase our understanding of abolition and equip ourselves with skills to take action.
The Seminar will take place April 1-3, 2023. Join youth (14+) and adults in-person – at the First Unitarian Society of Minneapolis – and online for programming and activities!
This email contains all kinds of information to help you learn more about what to expect. We hope you’ll help us spread the word and register by March 15, 2023.
(And if you plan to attend in person, book a room in our hotel block by February 28!)
If you’re joining us online, consider getting your youth group or others at your congregation to come, too! You can watch the programs together and form your own reflection groups.
See you there!
