Remember that huge Undie Sunday carton that stood outside church every Sunday in June? Well, by the end of June it was overflowing with donations for Youth Outreach (YO) from our generous members and friends.
Nancy Young and Francine Less loaded up the car and took the donations over to Youth Outreach on July 6. Of course, they were immensely welcoming and pleased to receive the donated items.
The Share the Plate and dollar contributions totaled over $2400 so YO will soon be receiving these funds.
On behalf of the Social Justice Council and the Chalice Circle Program, sponsors of this annual effort, mahalo to everyone who participated and for giving so generously!
