Save the Date for January 19! - Archived

As we step into the new year, the Church of the Crossroads and the Sierra Club Oahu Group invite you to join us for a special screening of Inhabitants – Indigenous Perspective on Restoring Our World on Friday, January 19th from 6-8:30PM at the Church of the Crossroads. To watch the trailer for Inhabitants, please click the link here.

This event serves as a preliminary gathering for the upcoming Watada Lecture Series on Peace, Justice, and the Environment, scheduled for February 17th, 2024. The series will feature Kamanamaikalani Beamer, who will delve into his forthcoming book, “Waiwai?” – Water and the Future of Hawaiʻi.

Please join us and save the dates for these unique opportunities to engage in discussions around Indigenous stewardship and climate resilience. As we pave the way for these critical conversations, your insights and presence will contribute immensely to our collective journey.

Because this is a free community event, we will be sending out a link to RSVP in the upcoming weeks, along with details on location and parking. We look forward to your presence at this event and the insightful discussions that will pave the way for the Watada Lecture series!

Ola i ka wai!
