It’s getting close! The most meaningful election of our lifetime! Come join us for a discussion on “The Aftermath of the November 3rd Election: Whatever the outcome, how do we exercise our power?”

Most of us are facing the upcoming election with very mixed emotions. Our excitement about the prospects of a brighter and saner future for ourselves and our country versus our fear when we recall how our hopes were dashed to bits 4 years ago by a rigged election and low voter turnout. Whatever the outcome, the question is what happens next?

Let’s be ready to hit the ground running once the dust has settled and the winner is officially declared.

Hopefully we will be focusing on what we can do to repair our country, plug the loop holes that make democracy vulnerable, address institutional racism and make our voices heard in this time of rebuilding our nation.

And if the worst case scenario does happen, what is our game plan? How are we going to fight for our democracy and protect our rights?

Come join us for a spirited discussion and strategy session on how we can have an effective presence after the election. No matter who wins, we must be prepared to exercise our power.
