New Member Pau Hana

Membership Chair Theresa Moorleghen was the Hostess with the Mostest at last Friday’s Pau Hana honoring our newest members. Nearly 30 folks, new members, board members, church leaders and Rev. Dr. Greg all gathered together for food, fun and fellowship.  Beth Beyers created a fun ice breaker that got everyone mingling. It was Ian Valasek’s Birthday (he’s our wonderful sound engineer on Sunday mornings) and his mom, Karen, baked a marvelous German Chocolate Cake that we all got to indulge in. Martina Queenth, of course, decorated with flowers to add to the festivities. And the food prep gang (Kay Armstrong, Janice Davis, Leanne MacIntyre, Nancy Schildt, BJ Collins,) had a blast cutting the cheese. The conversations flowed and NO business was attended to – just FUN.
