Honolulu’s Gallery on the Pali announces an exhibition of photography by Celiamarie Moore and drawings by Tamara Moan.
The exhibit is titled “PENCIL AND LENS: Urban travel from Hanoi to Istanbul”
The exhibition will run September 22, 2019, through Friday, November 1, at GOTP, located at the First Unitarian Church at 2500 Pali Highway.
The opening reception is on Saturday September 28, 6-8 pm. The public is invited.
Gallery Hours (Closed Monday and Saturday): Tuesday through Friday 9 am – 2 pm, and Sundays 9 am to 1 pm.
ABOUT THE EXHIBIT:
Tamara Moan exhibits drawings made while touring the world since 1986, including a world bicycle tour in 2012, when she and her husband sold most of their belongings to tour Asia, Africa, Europe, and Australia. She currently lives and paints in Kailua, Hawai‘i. During the last twenty years she has exhibited her work in Hawai‘i, Oregon, and Washington. Tamara has taught art at the Honolulu Museum of Art School since 2001, working with both children and adults.
Photographer Celiamarie Moore says that for her, travel and photography are linked, two aspects of one passion. She is displaying photographs from her many world travels.
