Meet our Ministers in Residence – Revs. Kathleen Rolenz and Wayne Arnason – Nov 26 and Dec 3, 2017 - Archived

Revs. Wayne Arnason and Kathleen Rolenz were the co-ministers of the West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church in Cleveland, OH from 2000-2016.  While taking their first sabbatical, they traveled the country studying and experiencing worship and produced “Worship that Works: Theory and Practice for Unitarian Universalists.”  The second edition was just released this fall, with a new forward and updates about innovations in worship since the book was written in 2005.

Rev. Wayne Arnason has served denominationally and in parish ministry for over forty years.  He retired from full-time ministry in 2016, but is currently serving as the 1/2 time minister at the UU Church of Sterling, VA.   He is the co-author and editor of two books, We Would be One and Buddhist Voices in Unitarian Universalism.

Rev. Kathleen Rolenz has been the minister of five congregations over the past 25 years and is currently an Accredited Interim Minister in Training.  She will be serving as the Interim Senior Minister at the UU Church of Annapolis in January 2018. She is the author, editor and co-editor of four books with Skinner House.  Her most recent manuscript “The Free Thinkers Bible: A Guide for the Curious, Contemptuous and Already-Convinced” will be published in 2018.
