Dear First Unitarian Church Honolulu,
Are you craving in-person connection after the last several years? Are you wishing for intergenerational exchange?
We want our 2023 Intergenerational Spring Seminar (April 1-3) to be a joyful return to in-person gathering for our UU@UN community. For those who can join us in Minneapolis (at the First Unitarian Society), this is your
 last call toÂ
book your room in our hotel block; the
 deadline is tomorrow, February 28!
Our hotel block is with the Hampton Inn Downtown, where our attendees can reserve rooms at a specialty rate, so it should be an excellent value if you’re travelling to the seminar. Plus, it’s located close to the venue (First Unitarian Society of Minneapolis), and we’ll provide a free shuttle between the hotel and the congregation.
And for those who cannot join us in Minneapolis, you can attend online as well!
As a reminder, this year’s theme is “Demilitarization & Abolition: Resist Policing and Empire.” Militarized policing is a dire problem both in the U.S. and globally, and this year’s Seminar aims to help us increase our understanding of abolition and equip ourselves with skills to take action.
This email contains all kinds of information to help you learn more about what to expect. We hope you’ll help us spread the word and register by March 15, 2023.
If you’re joining us online, consider getting your youth group or others at your congregation to come, too! You can watch the programs together and form your own reflection groups.
See you there!
