A.D.O.R.E. (A Dialogue On Race and Ethnicity) will hold its monthly meeting on Sunday, June 23rd, 11:30am – 1:40pm in the church sanctuary. During the first ten minutes, 11:30-11:40, co-chairs Allison Jacobs and Jill Rabinov will hold a short orientation for newcomers. The regular meeting will run from 11:40am – 1:40pm.
We will view a PBS Chasing the Dream series documentary called “Against All Odds: The Fight For A Black Middle Class,” in which “acclaimed journalist Bob Herbert explores the often heroic efforts of black families to pursue the American dream in the face of unrelenting barriers.” For more information please open this link:
