Interested in Hosting a GA 2026 Community Gathering? - Archived

Dear Friends,

General Assembly 2026 will be a bold new experiment in gathering as a movement. Our Studio Site in Louisville, Kentucky at the Galt House Hotel will host 800 to 1,000 Unitarian Universalists for worship, learning, and connection. At the same time, we are exploring adding two Satellite Sites which will each welcome at least 250 participants, linking us across time zones.

In addition to these official sites, congregations across the continent are invited to host their own local gatherings where registered attendees can experience GA together. These community gatherings offer opportunities for worship, discussion, and connection in a familiar setting while sharing in the same inspiring content as all other GA participants.

Individuals who prefer to participate independently will also have the option to attend fully online from home, with access to every streamed event and program.

We would love to know if your congregation is planning or considering hosting registered attendees over the closing weekend, June 19–21, 2026, and how many participants you anticipate. Your response will help us plan communications, support materials, and registration options for host sites.

If your congregation is planning or considering hosting registered attendees for the closing weekend, please take a moment to share your plans. Your response helps us prepare resources and communication for host sites. Complete the GA 2026 Community Gathering Interest Form by Friday, November 15.

P.S. Even if your plans are still forming, a quick reply helps us plan how best to support congregations that gather their communities for GA 2026.
