NEW! More Opportunities to Network at GA 2023!
GA attendees engaged in conversation
Whether attending GA in-person or virtually, there will be increased opportunities to meet up with folx who share your interests and hobbies!
In-person attendees and exhibitors will have the opportunity to reserve space at the David Lawrence Convention Center for informal meetups. Meetup spaces will be available on a first come, first served basis. Virtual Meetups can be scheduled in the GA app’s meet-up section. The GA app will be available to registered attendees in June.
This spring we will be sharing in-person meetup reservation instructions. Watch this space!
Be a GA Volunteer

Each year, General Assembly is made possible by the contributions of hundreds of volunteers who do everything from editing videos to hanging banners. There will be many Volunteer Opportunities for both onsite and offsite participants. Volunteers are eligible to receive a fully funded GA registration.
We are especially seeking applicants for the following positions:
  • Join the Chaplain Team (onsite and off-site). GA Chaplains manage and coordinate care for registered attendees experiencing spiritual or physical crisis during GA. If you are in final fellowship with the UUA MFC and a member in good standing with the UUMA, or if you are a retired minister, you are encouraged to apply.
  • Be an Off-site Production Volunteer. Jobs include transcription and video editing, Zoom or chat hosting, help with building slide decks for General Sessions using provided templates, and also some pre-production captioning, video processing, and possible video editing.
Financial Support for General Assembly
General Assembly Planners are committed to the goal of making the General Assembly accessible to the maximum number of attendees possible. Financial support to attend GA – virtually or in-person – is offered to those with need. These awards are funded through the generosity of General Assembly registrants via donations made during registration.
There are several options for GA discounts and financial support. Watch this video for details.
