Gallery Hours (Closed Monday and Saturday): Tuesday through Friday 9 am – 2 pm, and Sundays 9 am to 1 pm.
ABOUT THE EXHIBIT:
Sam Ahai retired eight years ago from the post office, and was looking for something to do other than coaching canoeing which he did for the past 40 years. He saw a poster at the Ala Wai Clubhouse offering beginning watercolor classes seven years ago, so he signed up. He did drawing and watercolor throughout the years without  training. He is still involved in the class which he enjoys.
He likes to paint watercolor and now is involved in painting with acrylic. He has  had a few shows in the past. He had his first show in 2015 at Gallery on the Pali. Most recently I also had three paintings in the Association of Hawaiian Artists Miniatures Show at Ho’omaluhia which closed at the end of November. He is glad to be back a second-time-around for this current show in December here at Gallery on the Pali.
His art will be on display through Jan. 10th, 2019.
