Gallery on the Pali: Gallery Sitters Wanted - Archived
Aloha UU Church Family,
We can open the Gallery on the Pali to outside artists only when we can have guaranteed open hours that can be advertised. Gallery team members will cover some hours, and we would like volunteers from the church to help.
Gallery sitting means you open the gallery and…sit, in case visitors come to see the show. The visitor turnout is usually quite low. While sitting you can do yoga or read, surf the internet, etc., or hang out with a friend if you bring one. On the odd chance a sale is made there is a receipt form available. Detailed directions will be given to sitters.
Hours we need sitters are most likely Saturdays 2 pm to 5 pm, Fridays 12noon to 3 pm and Thursdays to coincide with the office being open, which is 11 am to 1 pm.
