The General Assembly Chalice is On Tour!
|
|
The General Assembly Traveling Chalice has traditionally circulated among various congregations in the region where GA is being held. The Local Area Task Force (LATF) coordinates the transfer of the chalice along with a personal invitation to attend GA. This year, we’re pleased to extend this opportunity to all Pittsburgh metro area congregations. If your congregation is within drivable distance to Pittsburgh, we invite you to submit a chalice request form. A notecard with bulleted GA information will be included in the GA chalice case. By featuring the GA chalice in local worship services, we help spread the word that all UUs are invited to attend General Assembly, online or in-person in Pittsburgh, PA June 21 – 25, 2023.

Delegate Credentials for General Assembly are Now Available
The Credential Manager is now open and certified congregations can begin distributing member delegate credentials for General Assembly. These credentials allow member delegates, who register for General Assembly, to vote on business matters. Each delegate credential also includes a unique link, which can be used to vote in the UUA Election this June. General Assembly registration is not required to vote in the election.
Please note: Your congregation is only responsible for assigning credentials to its member delegates. Ministers and religious educators must retrieve their credentials via ga-delegate.uua.org.
