Honolulu Star Advertiser

The Honolulu Star Advertiser published this guest column about Monday’s action as part of the Poor People’s Campaign revival this year on these islands: Poor People’s Campaign returns, ready to resume the fight (Honolulu Star Advertiser).

In the coming weeks we will convene a community meeting to discuss how things went this year. We will also map a course toward next year to meet even more of the needs we are called to meet. Until then, stay strong!

  1. Thank you, Rev. T. J. for your powerful words, and for your leadership in organizing and coordinating these efforts. I’m proud, inspired, and ready for the year ahead!

  2. Mahalo nui, TJ, for organizing the Monday event and allowing participants to voice concerns! Mahalo also for writing the editorial — that will let a lot more people know about the Campaign. Another place we can publicize it is the online newspaper, Civil Beat.
