Hawaii’s share of federal funding for programs, including the following, are determined by Hawaii’s Census count:

Medicare	Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP)
Medicaid	Emergency Services such as fire and ambulance
School lunches	School educational services and programs

In addition, the Census determines the number of representatives Hawaii can send to Congress.

As of Sept. 1, only 61.8% of Hawaii’s households have self-responded. We must get closer to 100%!
