Congregational Mtg. Dec. 16. 11:30-12:30

SHOW YOUR SUPPORT AND BE THERE!!  Sorry, but our by-laws do not allow absentee ballots at a meeting to call a minister.

At This meeting will be voting on two issues:

  1. Do we as a congregation wish to call a settled minister.
  2. Do we as a congregation wish to offer this position to the Rev. T. J. Fitzgerald?

This is the next step in the process of moving from Contract (T.J.’s position now) to Called Ministry (a covenant and commitment).  If we decide to call T. J. at this meeting, then we begin the process of figuring out what the job is, and then whether or not T. J. wants to commit to being our settled minister – usually for 3 or more years.

This is an important decision on both sides.  There will be a commitment to T.J. for us to do our part in Shared Ministry and T.J. will need to decide if this is the right place for him to be right now.
