CALLING ALL CUUPS Chapters, Members, and friends!
We are inviting you to participate in this year’s UUA General Assembly Summer Solstice Celebration.
We invite you to send images and videos of celebrations, artwork, poems, etc. you have had throughout the year. We also need a few more readers for voiceovers.
Contact Jerrie at or ASAP! We need to get the video done by May 1, 2022.
Come create a sacred space online to explore and sing under the guidance of pagan musician Abigail Spinner McBride and moderated by CUUPS Board Member Cat Rigby. Our voices will open to sounds we didn’t know we could make in celebration of the summer. Beginner friendly. No singing experience is required.
Abigail Spinner McBride was just named Best Female Artist of the Year by the International Pagan Music Awards. She is the High Priestess of the Family of Fire, a musician, dancer, and massage therapist based in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is a highly skilled facilitator of fire-circle technology and the co-author of Universal Fire Circle Alchemy.
Her latest album, The Family of Fire, is a collection of her original music that has been inspired by the fire circles. Abigail is also the lead singer and percussionist for Zingaia. Her recent release, Dancers of Twilight, has won critical acclaim.
She enjoys belly dancing, teaching drumming, chanting, and awareness workshops. She spends her free time gardening, cooking, and practicing the art of levitation as the lead assistant to her husband, magician Jeff McBride. Find her work on Spotify by searching for Abbi Spinner McBride.
Through songs, poems, and more, the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans celebrates the longest day of the year. This sacred gathering reminds us of our connection to the natural world and to each other. Come add your light to the celebration!
Visit the CUUPS Virtual Exhibit Booth for our Membership Raffle and information about our online Bonfire and Bardic Circle. Bring your humor, laughter, poes, stories, and songs to share. Remember to enter the raffle! Check the link and time of the gathering at the booth and on the GA App!

Every Tree And Every Flower
Sometimes it is good
just to let yourself
feel the sunshine,
the rain,
the soft breezes,
and the love in your heart
until you see the face of the One
in every bud and every leaf,
every tree
and every flower.
Then every part of this creation,
like the fragments of a shattered mirror,
are simply reflections of
the Friend.
The Beloved’s face in your shard
is just you clothed in this wine skin,
decorated with those eyes,
those lips,
that nose,
that hair,
that color,
that disposition.
But still
within those things employed
to differentiate and separate
dwells the Love
by any other name
called You.

2nd Saturdays: Chapter and Member Support
Did you miss the April gathering? We shared ideas for how to hold the first general interest meeting to see if there’s enough people at the UU church to form the initial pagan study group. The slide deck is available here.
On May 14, 2022 at 7 PM EST we gather over Zoom to continue the conversation. We discuss how to have the 2nd “Nuts and Bolts” organizational meeting now that interest has been established.
Click here to register or email for more info. You can send your ideas for future discussions.
