In response to several requests for changes, the team (Laurel Zeri, Molly Rowland, Mary MacKay) have done a thorough review of the church bylaws. The proposed amendments  include a lot of small changes that will actually have an impact on the congregation. These areas of concern include the Board, Membership, Meetings, and the Nominating Committee.  There is also a need to address changes in Hawaii’s gun laws.

The team would love to hear from you and talk to anyone who wants to know more about updating the bylaws.  Please contact Laurel, Molly, or Mary to provide feedback, concerns, and suggestions for improvement before the end of February.  The team hopes the Congregation will vote on the bylaws in March and want everyone to know what’s going on before then.
