Audio-Visual Issues During Zoom Sunday Services
Zoom participants reported that Zoom crashed last week, and then, once Zoom was back up, the audio was unstable and blinked on and off. The AV team, consisting of Ian, Jaron, Dave Hafner, and Jim Cooper, are aware of the situation and will investigate the issues causing the disruptions. Watching a poorly televised Zoom service is a miserable experience, enough to turn the most devoted away. According to an internet search, audio issues with Zoom are common among other churches and institutions. We are not alone.
Maintenance
Ongoing: Many of the second-floor window screens are in disrepair. We have replaced the screening in four and have at least three more to go. Some of these required rebuilding the window screen frame.
Future: The church contracted with Nilo Landscaping, LLC to cut the Schefflera hedge to the ground on the Pali and Niolopa Pl sides of the church property and trim the hedge to the top of the playground fence on Marne’s property line. Temporary safeguards will be erected to prevent cars from driving over the stone wall. Work has not been scheduled yet.
