Our Pali Highway frontage provides us with a very public platform to make known our UU values. Two years ago when the wind felled a large brassica tree, we gained another prime spot on the Pali to display a banner! A bright banner in this gaping hole would improve the aesthetics of the landscape.

Some folks have suggested we create a rotating banner ministry that ties into our quarterly theme: The theme for April is Joy. At an impromptu discussion the Board had during a Pledge Drive call training session last week, Board members expressed enthusiasm for “Joy is an Act of Resistance!”

The Board will formally discuss this idea at the April Board meeting.
