Dear friends and supporters of the International Convocation of UU Women,
Â
Thanks to your generous support, our partner Gondviselés (Providence) Charity Organization of the Hungarian Unitarian Church has been continuously providing vital aid for the internally displaced and programs for Ukrainian refugees in Romania.
Â
You are warmly invited to attend our Virtual Annual Gathering on 10 October at 10 AM EDT / 2 PM UTC (find your timezone here) to hear Andrea Székely, board member of Gondviselés, speak about Gondviselés’s work for Ukrainian refugees in Cluj/Kolozsvár, Transylvania, especially about their groundbreaking Ukrainian kindergarten and elementary school program.
Â
The second speaker of our event is Laura Molinar, co-founder and co-director of Sueños Sin Fronteras de Tejas (SSFTX), who will talk about SSFTX’s work for immigrant and undocumented communities in San Antonio, TX, and about their newest grassroots organizing initiative for immigrant, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color, currently being implemented in partnership with the International Convocation of UU Women.
Please learn more and register here or click on the event flyer below.
Â
In continued appreciation and gratitude for your support,
ZsĂłfia
