Allison and I hope that everyone is staying safe and well.

After much thought and discussion, we have decided to cancel the March 22nd ADORE meeting and hold a discussion of the book Haoles in Hawaii by Judy Rohrer at a future meeting. We have determined that holding a book discussion with 25-35+ people would not be effective or beneficial using the Zoom technology. In order to get the most out of such a discussion we all need to meet in person.

We are delighted to announce that we WILL hold an ADORE meeting on April 26th,11:30am – 2:00pm and that it will lend well to Zoom technology. Experienced anti-racism trainer Nancy Rogene, Ph.D and her colleague Amaranta Colindres will facilitate an inspiring and insightful workshop entitled, Brainwashed by Whiteness: Transforming Our Racialized Mindsets. 

There will be further information and details available regarding this workshop in April. Please mark it on your calendars!
