To summarize, Team Hope reached several conclusions and made recommendations with a flexible timeline for each of the seven transformative action possibilities that came out of our congregation’s work with Hope for Us coaches in November 2024. Please dig into our report for details.

So what’s next?  The Board has endorsed Team Hope taking the lead to present a series of workshops this fall & winter called Listening to Understand.  The workshops will include building skills and practices that can increase trust and connection, and we’ll have some fun doing it!  Dates and more information to come.

The remainder of Team Hope’s proposed actions and suggested timeline are with the Board.

Hope For Us gave us all a new perspective: The people aren’t the problem.  The problem is the problem.  For 4 months, Team Hope got to live and breathe this perspective … and we feel changed for the better.
