Wednesday, November 20
Transgender Day of Remembrance
Hālau o Haumea at Kamakakūokalani Center for Hawaiian Studies
UH Manoa – parking is limited, consider public transportation or car pooling
5:30 pm – 8 pm

This sacred day of remembrance calls to mind in us all how many of the most vulnerable among us are treated. And we will focus on the lessons of resilience and community as we remember those who were taken too soon.

Tuesday, November 26
Nu’uanu Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration—“Weave One Heart”
Nu’uanu Congregational Church
6 pm – Volunteer check-in (sanctuary) and potluck drop off (gymnasium)
7 pm – Celebration (Kindly park at our church if possible, but not required)
8 pm – Resource Fair

The 58th celebration of gratitude with all of our closest neighbors in faith is a delight and a chance to see so much of what binds us together in a world that seems so divided.

Thursday, November 28
Thanksgiving Dinner
First Unitarian Church
4:30 pm – 8 pm

Our annual Thanksgiving Dinner is always a hit. We hope to see many of you there. Please simply let us know who will be attending and what you plan to bring.

Our annual party to herald in the turning of the season and of the year features our Ukulele Choir, a chance to make ornaments, and all the wonderful fellowship we can hope for. We hope to see you there.

Blue Christmas Service with Institute for Human Services
Atherton Chapel (the smaller chapel), Central Union Church

This is a meditative service where those who have lost loved ones are invited to join with our partner Institute for Human Services and a number of our faith partners in remembrance.

Tuesday, December 24
No-Rehearse Christmas Pageant
First Unitarian Church
4 pm in the Sanctuary

One of the highlights of our year, come and take part in a service you don’t have to prepare for at all. Be a wiseperson, a lamb, or a lobster…whatever your heart desires for this wonderful experience of the meaning of the season.
